Yes, you can upload your area data and shape files. Soon you will also be able to upload satellite imagery that you have licensed from providers like Planet.
Is our data secured or shared on the platform?
No, all your data, including data that you upload, is contained within your account and is not shared on the platform. Your data is secured in the cloud.

Can I customise Earth Blox and edit my code?
Earth Blox is a no-code solution, meaning you do not see any code. You can customise workflows in Earth Blox using the drag-and-drop blocks.
How up-to-date is your data, and how far back does it go?
Earth Blox uses Google Earth Engine's data archive, giving you access to more than 40 years of historical imagery and scientific datasets, updated and expanded daily. Learn more about the datasets here.
How much storage do we get?
We have a fair use policy, meaning you get unlimited use provided it is within the limits of this policy. It is unlikely you will exceed the limits, but if you'd like to know more contact us.
Is Earth Engine reliable, will Google continue to support it?
We believe so. Earth Engine is over a decade old and earlier this year (2022) Google announced it is opening up the platform to businesses and governments for commercial use, so it now a part of Google Cloud's business offerings. Read more about what this means for Earth Blox customers here.
What does Earth Blox cost?
Earth Blox is sold on a commercial license and the pricing varies depending on the type of business and number of users you need. We give discounts to NGOs, charities and research institutes. Earth Blox Education is offered under license to universities.
