This virtual session at Google's
Geo4Good conference is designed to show you how a no code solution can help you to use Earth Engine to undertake Risk Monitoring.
We will be using the Earth Blox platform to do this. Earth Blox unleashes the awesome power of geospatial analytics for everyone, wherever they are located. It ensures that the requirements for monitoring risks and perils are met.
The session will provide an opportunity to discuss how no-code solutions can best support risk monitoring activities. To do this, we will look at case studies related to wildfires, drought and its impact on agriculture, and how flood extent can be analysed. This will be done through an extended demonstration of these use cases.
The final part of the session will be devoted to a Q&A session. We will be seeking contributions from the audience for insights into how Earth Blox can further leverag GEE tools & technologies to solve risk monitoring needs.
The themes and topics covered in this session include code-free geospatial analytics, geospatial data collection for risk monitoring, remote sensing in teaching, cloud-processing to handle big EO data, and functionalities, such as time series analysis, indices ad band math, change analysis, and unsupervised and supervised classification.
The webinar duration is 60 minutes and will take place on Friday, November 19th at 17:00 GMT (18:00 CEST). The agenda is as follows:
15 mins: Introduction to the concept of no-code access to Earth Engine, Earth Blox to present the goals, use-cases, and unique value proposition of its code-free interface;
20 mins: Earth Blox to provide a demonstration of how a no-code solution can enable users to undertake risk monitoring through a series of use cases including wildfires, drought, and flooding;
20 mins: Facilitated Q&A around key topics;
5 mins: Closing.
